CONCEPT & SCHEMATIC DESIGN

We begin by understanding the architecture, existing conditions, and the way the home will be lived in. Through site visits, architectural plan review, space planning, and concept development, we establish the overall design direction and preliminary material palette.

 

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

 

The concept is developed through detailed selections for architectural finishes, kitchens and bathrooms, custom millwork, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware and paint. Design presentations allow the overall material and aesthetic direction to be reviewed as a whole.

 

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION & COORDINATION

 

MATERIAL PROCUREMENT

We translate the approved design into the drawings, elevations, schedules and specifications required to communicate design intent to the project team. Throughout construction, we coordinate with contractors and trades to review details and maintain continuity as the project develops.

Where required, we manage the procurement of specified materials and fixtures—from quotations and samples through ordering, freight, receiving and delivery coordination—helping ensure materials arrive at the appropriate stage of construction.
